FRANK ROSENTHAL, DPT
Frank specializes in injury prevention for all fitness levels and will be on site to offer screenings, assessments, and recovery programs specific to each client. A native of Baltimore County, he played basketball for Calvert Hall and graduated from Bucknell University as a 4-year varsity rower. He earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and became a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy.
Over his career, Frank has treated a range of orthopedic, sports medicine, neurological, and post-operative patients. He regularly lectures in the PT program at UMES and is a clinical instructor for PT students. He helped start the Calvert Hall rowing team and volunteers as an assistant coach and previously worked with a semi-pro football team on conditioning and injury prevention. Frank’s interests include manual therapy, dizziness/balance, and spine care, with a passion for sports medicine. Frank enjoys research and has investigated hip/trunk muscle recruitment patterns as well as the effect of a trunk endurance program on collegiate athletes. He has completed continuing education courses with topics including advanced sports PT, McKenzie, youth overuse injuries, gymnastics, athlete gender differences, Parkinson’s, and dizziness.
